The not so big return

'Ello

Okay, okay I realise that it has been around 2 years since I have used this blog, but if anyone has ever taken 4 A Levels I'm sure you'd understand why this got moved to the sidelines.
However, my A Levels are long over and I have found myself with ALOT of free time; despite working full time, visiting the gym 3 times a week (most weeks...maybe...sometimes) and sleeping a hell of a lot. So here I am again, having one of my 'stuff it, lets start a blog moments'.
The true reason for me wanting to begin this blog again is that I have recently been looking over my posts from a couple of years back and thinking who knows what my life would be like if I had stuck with this. I enjoyed this so much in the short period that it was a part of my life, so why the hell not begin again, hey? Shouldn't we all step out of our comfort zones a little bit every once in a while?

Looks like you'll be seeing a lot more of me in the future...but first I have to think of some decent-ish content. Shit.

Architects

'Ello,

On Friday night, my boyfriend, 5 of my friends and I headed up to Manchester to go and see one of my favourite bands, Architects. I was introduced to Architects just under a year and a half ago when I met my boyfriend, Andy, and he introduced me to them. I understand that they're not going to be to everyone' s taste at all, but I am a fan of 'heavy' music (I'm not going to call it screamo, because then I'd have to stab myself in the face as that term makes me feel physically sick) so I absolutely love them.

The gig was without a doubt the best- and most brutal- gig I've ever attended and despite the fact I got kicked in the eye by a crowd surfer, which left me with a black eye that my mum pointed out to me when she picked me up from work the next day (thanks for telling me guys), I loved every second of the night. It's safe to say, I came out absolutely battered and bruised. To match my black eye, I also have bruises all over my body, a sore wrist, back and ankle and blisters all over my feet. Just a word of warning to everyone, don't get to barrier at a metal gig if you're 5ft3 because you're bound to either get practically beaten up by crowd surfers feet and arms flailing about or you're going to get crushed to death in the fight to get away from the pits.

The three support acts they had were fantastic too; even though I'd only heard of one of them before hand, I've come out of the gig determined to get into all three of them:

OOTD- Mum's birthday meal

Dress- H&M
Jacket- New Look
Necklace- H&M
Boots- Next

It's my mum's birthday today, and in our house a birthday means a meal out. I don't normally get changed out of jeans and a t-shirt to go for meals with my family, because we're very casual; however, today I decided to wear a new buy from H&M.
It's a very casual looking monochrome -because I tend not to stray into the world of colour- smock dress but I managed to make it look a bit more formal, so that I could get away with wearing it in the day to my business-wear-uniformed sixth form, by adding a leather jacket (I don't know how I did that) and some heeled chelsea boots. I also wore a silver necklace with small sparkly, sliver triangles, which was also from H&M.

I love smock dresses because they're very similar to the classic skater dress, but smocks tend to have a little bit more room to breathe than skater dresses and they also hide all of your curvy wurvy bits that you don't want showing. They're especially good if you are of the bigger breasted variety, as there is room to move around without creating an explosion out of the top of the dress.

My hair is in a very simple, far from perfect pony tail today as I was in a rush for sixth form this morning and decided it was easier to just pop it up, rather than wasting time trying to make it look presentable.

Top- new look
Jeans- topshop
Boots- next
Leather jacket- new look
Necklace- primark
Lips- MUA shade 2, baby lips pink punch

Today I'm off to my friends house for a lord of the rings marathon and I thought I'd wear my new boxy top from new look. I love the print of it and it's making me excited for summer.

The lipstick I'm wearing is a base of MUA  pink lipstick in shade 2 and then I've layered a coat of babylips pink punch over the top.

I've paired blue jeans, heeled Chelsea boots and a leather jacket with it.

Hello blogging world

'Ello,

So... I'm starting a blog which is a bit weird for me because I've spent about the last year or so with my face pressed against my computer watching and reading youtubers and bloggers thinking 'oh deary me I wish I had the confidence to do that'. So tonight I thought to myself 'stuff it, I'm making a blog' and here I am.
It's currently 2:54am, which means we're in my creative time which runs between 2-4am (at which point I crash) so I thought now would be a good time to begin with a little overview of ones self.

Hello, my name is Chloe (not spelt cloe, hence the name).
*insert hideously posed picture here*
I'm currently in sixth form studying A level psychology, art and design, history and applied science which is a bundle of joy as I'm sure you can imagine.
I'm basically starting a blog as an escape from reality; a place where I can write down my thoughts and opinions, a wardrobe for my favourite outfits, a face for a particularly good makeup day, a canvas for my mind...however you want to word it on paper it's basically just a more sophisticated tumblr blog - and by sophisticated I just mean i can come on here without being bombarded with porn and cats.

Posting wise, I have no theme, I will be posting what I want and when I want so I have no structure and no organisational methods which is pretty much how I manage everything else. I just amble through life and hope that things will come into place.
